There’s always a wide and
varied selection of entertainment at Orillia’s Canada Day. With three stages
to choose from, audiences can watch highland or modern dance, listen to country,
rock, gospel, folk, nostalgic or classical music, and cheer on performers from
eight to eighty-eight. Most stages start at 11 a.m. and continue until about
8:30 p.m.
In addition, performances and
demonstrations by the Lake Simcoe Squadron and Clan MacLachlan re-enactors will
thrill young and old throughout the day.
The
official programme, available early in June at many local stores, hotels and
restaurants, will provide a full listing of your entertainment options when you
join us to celebrate Canada Day on July 1.
