Many
opportunities are available. You can volunteer as little as 2 hours per
year (selling buttons in the park on Canada Day) or as many hours as you would
like by taking on one of the many committee tasks available.
Canada
Day itself is a wonderful opportunity for high school students to get a number
of required volunteer hours in one day. We need students to sell buttons
all day–but especially in the evening. Or, if you like working with
children, there are supervision needs in the Children’s Village and you can
always help setting up and taking down signage, canopies, etc.

Selling: We prepare a schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.. Peak selling
times are during the Parade (11-1), Opening Ceremonies (1-3) and early evening
prior to the fireworks (6-9). We also sell at entertainment venues throughout
the day. Choose your time!
